As the Uncertainty Factor used in the Sharing Requirement Calculation will change every Participants Sharing Requirement result, Powerex would ask that the Program Administrator explore a means to communicate the Uncertainty Factor used as early as possible on the Preschedule Day during the Sharing Requirement calculation process.

SRP is encouraged by the WPP's ongoing efforts in the developing of WRAP BPMs.

SRP recommends the WPP consider if the level of uncertainty in forecasting load and generation would increase, not decrease, in scenarios where participants are experiencing a deficit. SRP’s understanding is that deficit conditions, indicating a shortfall in resources to meet load requirements, would lead to a more unpredictable operational environment. Therefore, SRP encourages the WPP to provide an example and/or explanation illustrating why the Uncertainty Factor decreases in such scenarios. This may help stakeholders resolve any confusion about the application of the Uncertainty Factor in different operational contexts.
