PRC Task Force Nominations
2024-CRF-05 Load Growth Factor
2025-CRF-09/10 Regional Transmission (for Capacity)
SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in the Regional Transmission for Capacity Task Force. SRP is interested in helping evaluate how regional transmission may provide real resource adequacy value while ensuring any approach is practical. SRP is also interested in ensuring that a proposal developed by the task force is evaluated with consideration of external capacity and transmission deliverability.
2025-CRF-14/19 Data Center/Large Loads
SRP would like to nominate Jed Cohen, SRP's Senior Manager of Load Flexibility Programs for membership on the Data Center/Large Loads Task Force. Jed's experience with load flexibility makes him well positioned to provide perspectives as the Task Force considers how such loads and resources should be treated in WRAP.
2025-CRF-16 Non-WRAP BAA Loads
General Comment
SRP appreciates the WPP’s continued efforts to advance the WRAP framework through a collaborative stakeholder process. SRP values the opportunity to participate in the nomination process and believes its participation in task forces can support constructive and durable outcomes.
As a co-sponsor of this concept, SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in this task force. Our objective is to improve how WRAP calculates expected future load so that resource adequacy requirements better reflect growth trajectories that are consistent with our preparation for high season operational needs and current industry expectations, rather than relying on a default assumption.
