2024-CRF-05 Load Growth Factor (Long)

As a co-sponsor of this concept, SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in this task force. Our objective is to improve how WRAP calculates expected future load so that resource adequacy requirements better reflect growth trajectories that are consistent with our preparation for high season operational needs and current industry expectations, rather than relying on a default assumption.

2024-CRF-08 CAISO Firm Transmission (Short)

As the sponsor of this concept, SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in this task force. SRP’s interest lies in clarifying the eligibility of CAISO transmission products to meet WRAP’s firm transmission requirements. SRP believes it is important to identify clear criteria for acceptable use of Wheel-Through and Non-RA exports from CAISO in the WRAP framework. SRP looks forward to participating in this task force and developing guidance that promotes transparency for participants relying on CAISO transmission.

2024-CRF-10 Capability Testing Off-Season (Short)

As the sponsor of this concept, SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in this task force. SRP is interested in supporting the WRAP to develop a flexible framework that allows resources with seasonal constraints to demonstrate their QCC through either historical operational data or adjusted off-season capability tests.

2024-CRF-12 ELCC by Vintage / Indicative QCC for Long-Term Storage (Long)

SRP respectfully submits this nomination for itself to participate in the ELCC by Vintage / Indicative QCC for Long-Term Storage task force. SRP is specifically interested in contributing to the development of enhancements to WRAP’s ELCC and QCC methodologies that address differences in performance across resources. SRP would select Jon Cook as our primary representative. Jon Cook leads efforts in SRP’s Forward Showing submissions. He is also on the Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG) resource adequacy task force and is actively engaged in the WRAP Forward Showing working group as well as the development of WRAP business practice manuals. As a Senior Principal Analyst in Resource Planning, responsible for performing resource accreditation in SRP’s annual resource plan, Jon brings a strong understanding of resource accreditation frameworks. Jon Cook is well positioned to contribute to the tasks force’s technical and policy outcomes.

2024-CRF-15 Planned Outage Clarification (Short)
