Key Details:

  • Pay: $105,000 – $125,000 annually
  • Location: Remote - must reside in one of the following states: OR, WA, ID, MT, AZ, CA, CO, MT, NV, NM, UT, WY
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, PST time
  • Benefits: Employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance; PTO, 10 paid holidays, company-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), 401k with 6% match, and flexible hybrid working schedule

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Management Analyst, or other similar professional experience performing data management, reporting, conducting process evaluations, and performing financial or operational analysis.
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, project controls, and/or project tracking
  • Experience in owning or supporting budget development and financial planning for a small – mid-sized corporation or a large program
  • Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team.
  • Experienced in effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel capabilities (PivotTables, INDEX MATCH, charts and forecasts, and trending tools).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics or comparable years of experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with scheduling software (eg. Micrsoft Project or Primavera)
  • Experience or interest in the energy or utilities industry. 

What You’ll Do: This position is primarily responsible for providing support to program managers, especially related to program controls, reporting, and contract management. You’ll conduct independent analysis, research, and reporting. Participates in and leads short, mid and long-range planning and budgeting activities. Organizes and facilitates decision making meetings and planning processes. Contributes to process improvements and may lead system and procedure definition activities. Participates in cross functional teams and system development projects. You’ll be the bridge between finance, accounting, and business unit operations. 

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement and maintain process for contract lifecycle management and tracking.
  • Building project controls and providing project control support to program managers.
  • Managing budget building process for the organization and for individual programs, serving as technical advisor to managers for mid and long-range planning activties.
  • Analyze and interpret expense variances.
  • Financial modeling.
  • Document internal business processes and identify potential improvements.
  • Participate in system development initiatives or projects to capture, monitor and measure outcomes of financial plans, operational activities or projects.
  • Becoming the SME in cost allocation for all member programs.
