Due to the continued success and develoment of the NWPP source.training eLearning platform, the NWPP Corporation is pleased to announce the expansion of its training team with the addition of Jessica Zamonis. Mrs. Zamonis, previously of NV Energy, has been hired as the Training Coordinator and Technical Advisor for the eTraining course creation process.

At NVE, Jessica was a Senior Engineer in the Grid Operations department focused on training Transmission, Balancing Authority, and Distribution system operators. With 18 years of experience between NV Energy and Sierra Pacific Power Company, Jessica brings with her a wealth of operational, engineering, and policy knowledge in nearly every facet of the electric utility industry.

Jessica has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland, a Masters in Business Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Nevada and is a NERC certified System Operator at the RC level.

In the two months since her hiring in January 2019, Jessica has hit the ground running, easily proving herself an indispensible addition to the NWPP Staff.
