APS appreciates the efforts of WPP and of the task force members in the development of this proposal. We feel that this is a necessary change to provide clarity in the WRAP program around non-NERC priority transmission products.
SRP appreciates the strong collaboration among Task Force members and WPP staff in developing this proposal. The Task Force discussions were productive and inclusive across organizations and regions, and the resulting language reflects a shared understanding of what should qualify as firm transmission under WRAP. The single definition of WRAP Qualifying Transmission provides a clear, consistent standard for identifying firm transmission and reflects the Task Force’s unanimous agreement. This collaborative outcome strengthens the program, and SRP thanks all participants for their time and effort in reaching a well-supported solution.

Bonneville supports the proposal and the approach (utilizing a defined WRAP Qualifying Transmission) proposed by the task force. Specifically, Bonneville feels it is appropriate to define WRAP Qualifying Transmission and to use it throughout varying WRAP documents. This approach provides clarity to stakeholders as to what transmission types constitute qualifying transmission while ensuring alignment and cohesiveness across multiple WRAP documents. Lastly, this approach affords a simple way to modify “WRAP Qualifying Transmission” in event that it becomes necessary.
