How do I register for a virtual classroom?

Northwest Power Pool virtual classrooms are live broadcasts available to NWPP Member personnel for NERC approved Continuing Eduction Hours (CEHs). They can be attended attend in person at our offices, or on the web through source.training.

I want to attend the classroom in person, and I have an nwpp.org account (not to be confused with a source.training account).

  • Sign in to nwpp.org at https://www.nwpp.org/accounts/login/.
  • Visit the events page at https://www.nwpp.org/events/.
  • Click the virtual classroom that you wish to attend.
  • From the event detail page, click REGISTER.
  • Ensure “In person” is selected, and click CONFIRM.
  • You are now registered.

I want to attend the classroom in-person, but I do NOT have an nwpp.org account.

  • Visit the events page at https://www.nwpp.org/events/.
  • Click the virtual classroom that you wish to attend.
  • From the event detail page, click REGISTER.
  • Enter your email address where prompted.
  • Ensure “In person” is selected, and click CONFIRM.
  • An automated email will be generated and sent to the address you entered confirming your registration.

I want to attend the classroom remotely, and I have a source.training account.

  • You do not need to register at nwpp.org, as described above.
  • Virtual classroom courses are published and available for early enrollment a day before the scheduled event.
  • Sign in to source.training at https://source.training/sign-in/
  • At the top of the page, click COURSES
  • Click Virtual Classroom
  • Click the virtual classroom you wish to attend
  • Click ENROLL
  • At the scheduled time of the event, the first course activity will unlock, activating the NEXT button. Click it.
  • Hit the play button in the middle of the player to begin the stream.

I want to attend the classroom remotely, but I do NOT have a source.training account.

  • Contact your company’s Training Coordinator to request access. Your Coordinator has the ability to invite you to create an account.
  • Once created, follow the instructions above under “I want to attend the classroom remotely, and I have a source.training account.”
  • If you are unable to reach your Training Coordinator before an impending virtual classroom event, contact help@nwpp.org.
