What is the WRAP?

The Western Resource Adequacy Program (WRAP) is the first regional reliability planning and compliance program in the history of the West.

It will deliver a region-wide approach for assessing and addressing resource adequacy and provide an important step forward for reliability in the region.

Why was it created?

The program was started at the request of WPP's customer utilities who were concerned about the issue of resource adequacy in the West.

How do I register for a virtual classroom?

Northwest Power Pool virtual classrooms are live broadcasts available to NWPP Member personnel for NERC approved Continuing Eduction Hours (CEHs). They can be attended attend in person at our offices, or on the web through source.training.

I want to attend the classroom in person, and I have an nwpp.org account (not to be confused with a source.training account).

How do Resources work?

On nwpp.org, documents of any kind are called "resources", and are represented by a square card surrounded in a colored border. The color is determined by the workgroup associated with the resource. A single resource can have as many as five documents available for download. Simply hover your cursor (or "mouseover") the resource card, and the document links will rise from the bottom. Click the links to download the document.
