Powerex Corp. appreciates the opportunity to submit nominations for Task Force participation and submits our nomination for participation in Task Force 2024-CRF-05. Powerex possesses extensive knowledge in energy trading, market design, transmission and generation system modelling and forecasting, and has been an active participant in the SPP Markets+ market development effort and has also closely followed the CAISO EDAM development effort and participated in its stakeholder process. Since the inception of the WPP WRAP development effort, Powerex has been active in all aspects of the Program’s design and formation. While specific team leads will be assigned once the various task forces are formed, Powerex’s contribution to the effort would be made from our team of traders, analysts and policy experts which includes: Derek Russell – Director, , Power; Ryan Holyk – Trader; Glen Tang – Director; Rob Gosselin – Trader; Power; Raj Hundal – Director, Market Policy; and others, as required.

APS has been actively involved in all aspects of WRAP development and design since the Program’s inception. We would like to nominate Tyler Moore for this task force. Tyler leads the APS Market Policy group and has been engaged in WRAP-related efforts for several years, including participation in task forces under the 2025 PRC Workplan. Additional APS subject matter experts will support the task force as needed.

As a co-sponsor of this concept, SRP appreciates the opportunity to participate in this task force. Our objective is to improve how WRAP calculates expected future load so that resource adequacy requirements better reflect growth trajectories that are consistent with our preparation for high season operational needs and current industry expectations, rather than relying on a default assumption.
